we fully understand the natural desire that many visitors to Bali Kids to offer to help us in a "practical way". However, Bali Kids is a medical project and we aren't able under current legislation to invite or allow volunteers to offer their services on an ad hoc basis. This rule doesn't however apply to medical professionals. For example, currently we do have a need for qualified dentists, so if that is your speciality please do get in touch with us.
Any professional medical volunteers must in any event be self supported. We have no funding to provide accommodation or transport for professional medical volunteers. Our regular medical professional volunteers find low cost accommodation and generally hire a car for their time here. All have found it a most rewarding experience helping children who otherwise would not have access to such quality medical care.
